Breast cancer linked to other diseases?

UCLA'S jonsson comprehensive cancer center conducted a study and found a connection between the frequently used ACE inhibitors and the development of breast cancer in women. ACE inhibitors are used for the treatment of blood pressure elevations and heart failure. The important feature of these drugs is that they have to be sued for a longer period of time and they have many side effects as well. The risk of breast cancer development increases in the case of chronic stress and inflammation plays a supporting role in the development of this problem. Inflammation is a major side effect of these ACE Inhibitors that are frequently used medications for cardiac problems.
There have been some interesting findings in the continued research on this topic that show the usefulness of some other medications that are used for the same or related problems. The beta blockers are another type of medications that is given to the patients of heart problem. Study revealed that the patients using beta blockers and no other related medicine showed less cases of breast cancer recurrence. However, the patients that were using both of these medications had a medium risk of developing the breast cancer.
The relationship of diabetes with the breast cancer development has also been proved through a similar study. This shows that the presence of other major diseases increase the risk of breast cancer and the medications should be selected with great care so as to avoid the dreadful side effects. Now that you know this, it is important for you to consult your doctor and talk about all your concerns. It is better to switch from the harmful medications to the safer ones that serve the same purpose.
